A POWERHOUSE bull from Pine Creek Angus stud, Woodstock, has won two supreme exhibit sashes in one month.
Pine Creek Kodiak 5R H130, owned and exhibited by the Fuller family, Pine Creek Angus, travelled to the Royal Adelaide Show for the first weekend in September where the 1010-kilogram beef wagon was sashed supreme beef cattle interbreed exhibit.
Three weeks later at Melbourne Royal Show, Kodiak, aged 2.5 years, weighed an impressive 1060kg and won the supreme beef breed exhibit.
Kodiak was also the supreme exhibit of the Angus breed at Melbourne, while Pine Creek females were awarded the grand champion Angus female sashes at both Melbourne and Adelaide.
Pine Creek principal Greg Fuller said the son of impact sire Canadian HF Kodiak 5R already had cows in calf and he was hopeful the bull's progeny could continue the bloodline's success.
