REEDY Creek Hereford bulls sold to a top of $6,000 and average of $3529 at the 20th on property sale at "Lanark", Loomberah, on Friday.
Twenty of the 29 bulls offered by Rob Haling and Julie Cassidy sold for a clearance of 72 per cent.
Repeat buyers Stewart and Tina Hay and Roger and Dee Hay, "Lapalma", Taroom, Queensland were the sale's top bidders, purchasing Reedy Creek Homebuilder H620.
The 34-month-old bull, by Reedy Creek Homebuilder C106 from Reedy Creek First Day, weighed 976 kilograms, had a scrotal circumference of 43 centimetres, scanned 18 millimetres and 13mm on the rump and rib and had an eye muscle area (EMA) of 125 square centimetres.
The Homebuilder son was one of three bulls purchased by the Hay family.
