PINE Creek Angus stud, Cowra, has continued to dominate in the beef cattle ring, winning all three interbreed competitions held so far.
Pine Creek principal Greg Fuller and family first were awarded the breeders group interbreed Gordon Fuller Memorial Perpetual Trophy for the second year running.
Judged by Andrew Bassingthwaite, Yarrawonga Waco, Wallumbilla, Queensland, the interbreed breeders group was judged from 12 breeds, with Angus, Charolais, Limousin, Poll Hereford and Shorthorn making the top five.
The stud then went on to be awarded the Urquhart Trophy for supreme beef breed animal with their Angus bull PC Kodiak 5R H130.
Kodiak was placed supreme ahead of the champion interbreed female, the Red Angus GK Red Ruba 26 G40, exhibited by GK Livestock, Dalby, Qld.
And to finish of the hatrick of trophies, Pine Creek's Angus heifer PC Miss E99 Foreman J181 has won the RAS Supreme Interbreed Heifer judging.
The final interbreed competition, the Horden Trophy for best breed pair of champions, is underway.
