CHAROLAIS bulls topped at $12,000 for the Griffin and Catts families at their on-property sale at "Glen Ayr", Kenebri via Baradine.
Terry and Maylene Griffin, Temana stud, offered 30 bulls, which included two Kyana stud bulls, offered by daughter Kylie Catts.
Of the 29 Charolais bulls offered, 24 sold for an average of $5021, the best result the stud has had.
It was one of the Kyana bulls that stole the show with Kyana J142E selling for $12,000 to Steve, Barb and Danny Bellinger, Goodnwindi Charolais stud, Millicent, South Australia.
The 23-month-old bull was sired by Violet Hills Echo and was out of Colinta Cyclone-sired female, Kyana B8E.
Temana J127E was runner up for the top priced honours, selling for $9000.
The Bellinger family also took home third highest priced bull, Temana J98E for $8500.
The sale was conducted by Elders and Davidson Cameron and Company.
