ALL 36 bulls at Futurity Shorthorns on-property sale sold to a top of $24,000 and average of $9487, producing a record Shorthorn sale average and the best sale Jason and Kylie Catts have had at their Baradine property "Glen Ayr".
Topping the sale was Futurity Judas J112, purchased by Bruce Peat, Echuca for his commercial herd.
Attracted by the two-year-old roan bulls figures, Mr Peat said he "liked his style".
"I like his conformation and docility," he said.
Sired by Futurity Fully Loaded F109 and out of Futurity Chicago's Ruby C67, Judas tipped the scales at 960 kilograms.
Futurity Juggernaut J94 achieved the second highest price, selling for $19,000.
The sale was conducted by Elders and Davidson Cameron and Company.
