Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD) and Westpac Rescue Helicopter formalised the perfect partnership in Tamworth last Friday.
Managing Director of CSD Peter Graham, said CSD had a lot of requests for sponsorship and support but wanted to do something significant in the way of charity, so decided to form an ongoing partnership with the Rescue Helicopter.
"This is something that helps saves people's lives," he said.
"They're assisting in providing a service that everyone benefits from."
On Friday, representatives from the Westpac helicopter and CSD met at the Westpac Rescue helicopter's Tamworth base, where the ongoing partnership between the two was formalised and a cheque was donated by CSD to the charity.
General manager of Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Richard Jones said they are thrilled to be partnering with CSD who like those at the charity, see the community as number one.
"We have similar values as far as the helicopter is concerned," he said.
As well as donating the partnership cheque, CSD will continue to support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter in other ways such as supporting events like the Spring Plains Ball.
Funds from this event will be donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
"We're thrilled to have a partnership with them which we hope goes on for many more years," Mr Jones said.
