FOR the second year running a Victorian competitor has taken out the Australian Livestock and Property Agent's National Young Auctioneers Competition.
The NSW finals kicked off proceedings, before the national finalists went head to head.
The NSW young auctioneer for 2015 was Blake O’Reilly, Ray White Rural, Guyra and Armidale.
With only two years selling experience under his belt, he was thrilled to be this year's winner. At age 20, he's working hard so he can have a long term career in the industry.
“Winning today has put me in a good position going forward,” he said.
Reserve NSW champion was Tom Boyle, Ag n Vet Services, Henty. But it was Victorian Nick Gray, Elders Ararat, who went home the 2015 National Young Auctioneer.
"It really hasn’t sunk in yet,” he said.
At 21 years of age he has been selling for three years.
Reserve National winner was Chris Gooch, Ray White Garvin and Cousens, Tamworth.
