JOIN us here at 2pm for a live forum with mental health professionals on coping with anxiety and change.
Anxiety is a normal part of life and we all feel anxious from time to time, particularly during times of change and uncertainty. But sometimes anxious feelings can happen for no apparent reason and can go on for weeks or months, affecting our health and day-to-day activities.
The expert panel will be talking about the signs and symptoms of anxiety and how to build resilience and develop coping mechanisms during times of change. They are also ready to answer your questions about change and anxiety as well as mental health in general.
The monthly Friday Forums are a joint initiative of The Land, the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) and NSW Farmers.
The expert panel for this forum will include:
- Shivani Uppal, Clinical Psychologist from THIS WAY UP Clinic and CRUfADi
- Sharon Knight, Executive Officer and Rural Financial Counsellor, Rural Financial Counselling Service NSW - Bourke
- Di Gill, Mental Health Promotion Office in Western NSW, Rural Adversity Mental Health Program
Join us here at 2pm to ask your question of the panel, share your experience or just read along and follow the discussion.
