JOIN our monthly mental health forum this Friday, June 7, where readers will be able to put their questions to our expert panel.
Tomorrow's forum will focus specifically on how mental health issues can affect men and where they can get help.
Readers, male and female, can ask questions of the panel which includes Terry Melvin, who established the MensLine Australia phone counselling service, Dr Chris Laming, a senior lecturer in community welfare and counselling at Monash University and John Stevens, part of the Western NSW Local Health District's health prevention and promotion unit in Orange.
The monthly mental health forums are a joint initiative of The Land, the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program and NSW Farmers.
The Land's editor Sally White said the forums were designed to give readers access to a panel of mental health professionals without having to travel long distances - or even leave the paddock.
A transcript of the forum will be posted on the website.
The forum kicks off at 2pm.
Readers can leave a question for the panel before then by commenting below.
