POLICE are appealing for information following the theft of a tractor from a property between Narromine and Trangie.
The property owner told police the tractor was stolen between 4pm yesterday (Monday) and 8am today.
Initial investigations suggest the vehicle was driven about one kilometre along the property's private road to a public road, where it was loaded onto a transport vehicle.
The tractor is a John Deere 8110, green and yellow in colour.
It is not registered. However, its asset number – 104546 – is printed in a corner of the front windscreen and a side window.
Rural Crime Investigators from Orana Local Area Command are investigating the theft. They are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
