SOUTH Australian and Tasmanian studs cleaned up all broadribbons in the show ring at the 52nd annual Poll Hereford National Show and Sale at Dubbo Showground leaving only minor placings for NSW exhibitors.
Lachy Day and family’s Days Whiteface stud, Bordertown, SA, paraded the show’s junior and senior champions and reserve senior champion.
The senior bull, Days Calibre G47 (P), went on to be named grand champion.
Another SA stud, Kerlson Pines, Keith, owned by brothers, Mark and Andrew Wilson, took out the reserve intermediate ribbon.
Three Tasmanian studs picked up the remaining broadribbon honours which included Nova stud, Ridgley, showing the intermediate champion and Quamby Plains stud, Hagley, the reserve junior.
The national sale kicks off at 10am today.
