AN ANGUS cow named Moo Moo has given birth to triplets on "Vinsondale", a Benerembah farm owned by Bryan and Carolyn Dossetor.
Purchased from South Australia as a young cow with her second calf, the six or seven year old is not known to have previously had a multiple birth, although Mr Dossetor said twins were quite common in their herd that now numbers 20 cows joined.
The cow didn't have any difficulty with her multiple births.
The three-week-old bull calves have been named Huey, Dewey and Louie.
Mr Dosseter said he would be purchasing calf pellets to supplementary feed the calves and one has already been given a bottle about five times during the past fortnight.
Moo Moo is also being supplemented with grain and hay.
"We have the cow and calves in a separate paddock close to the house and are closely looking after them," he said.
