Sale scene at Dunedoo Special Store Cattle Sale on Thursday, July 31.
STEERS and heifers were firm to $20 cheaper at the Dunedoo Store Cattle Sale today.
Yearling steers topped at $610 a head, while heifers sold to $530 in a yarding of 1100 head of predominantly steers.
Selling agent auctioneer, Angus Stuart of Milling Stuart Pty Ltd, Dunedoo, said the cattle were very "buyable".
"Anyone wanting to buy cattle today would have bought well," he said.
Buyers came from Boggabri, Jerilderie, Merriwa, Molong and local.
