RAMS sold to a top of $1750 and average of $616 at the Lemani Merinos ram sale at "Taviton", Ashford, on Thursday.
Twelve of the 30 rams offered were sold for an average of $616.
Ashford wool grower Scott Conkey, "Cheviot Hills", purchased the top-priced ram for $1750, as well as the second highest priced ram for $925.
Mr Conkey was also the volume buyer, purchasing four rams for an average of $912.
