Top price ram at $3200 at Pastora Poll Merino ram sale
THE top price was $3200 at the Pastora Poll Merino sale todya.
This was paid by Mac Fraser, "Heatherlie" Tallangatta for a Poll Merino ram.
Mr Fraser was attracted to the outstanding ram for his outlook and impressive figures - 18.6m, SD 2.6 and GFW 111 per cent.
The 14 rams offered were sold for average $2228.
There were 959 Poll Merino ewes, August shorn, offered and all were sold to average $122.64.
The top price pen was paid by Stuart Patey "Nrubeola" Boree Creek for the 108 two-year-old August shorn ewes.
