Ten month old Shorthorn/Charolais cross steers topped at $885 a head at a dearer Dubbo Store Cattle Sale today.
Their sisters, in a draft of 26 head, topped the heifer section at
$785 when both lots sold to Teys feedlot at Condamine, Queensland.
The small yarding of 800 cattle sold quickly with the sale only taking less than two hours to vlear all lots.
Cows and calves sold to $1100 while PTIC cows topped at $1350.
Steers were quoted as being dearer than the previous fortnigjt sale by up to $40 a head.
