PRIMARY school children flocked to the Kangaroo Valley Show last Friday to race their bicycles and take part in an obstacle race with their dogs in tow.
There was a fancy dress competition and a pet show, as well as a talent quest.

High school kids from the district gathered in the livestock arena to take part in the junior judging competition.
Big numbers of competitors took part but only three were selected to represent their show society at the Royal Easter Show next month in Sydney.
Brittany Whiteley, placed first in the senior division; Kate Gooden, placed first in the intermediate division, and Skye Hubbard, took second place in the intermediate division.
Competition was stiff in the beef cattle ring.
Junior champion bull went to Limousin bull Summit Venture Captain, owned by Mick and Mary Parsons, Kia Ora, Roslyn, and led by Hayley Jones.

Senior champion interbreed bull was Talis Jedhi, 22 months, from the McLachlan group's Talis Angus stud, Glenquarry.
Junior champion female went to KO Dream K4, bred by KO Angus, Kangaloon, and champion senior cow and heifer went to Talis Milliscent and her 7 week old calf.
KO Dream K4 was also sashed supreme champion exhibit.
The dairy section had a smaller number of competitors but judge Stuart Lockhart, Dairy Livestock Services, was impressed by what he saw.
Champion ribbon jersey female was Lerida Park Bosspring Rosebud, owned by Graeme and Lisa Cochrane, Lerida Park, Kangaroo Valley.
Reserve was Foxton RM Leonie, owned by Rob and Sandra Brown, Wollingurry, Fitzroy Falls.
Champion ribbon Holstein female went to Glen Invade Jewell, bred by Geoff Good and led by his daughter Molly, Kelvin Glen stud, "Glenhaven", Kangaroo Valley.
Reserve was Larkin Maider, led by his other daughter Tess.
