WAGGA Wagga Show Society secretary and manager Aileen Storey says every member of the family will be entertained at this year's event on Thursday and Friday, October 1-2.
"The Wagga Wagga Show Society is committed to providing show goers with great value for the price of entry and apart from the usual sideshows, there will be much to see for children and adults alike," Ms Storey said.
She said all the regular show exhibits would also be on display and continue to attract strong support.
"We expect a large number of entries across all categories including art and craft, photography, knitting and crochet, cooking, cake decorating, dogs, school work, poultry, as well as one of the most popular and competitive show jumping competitions in the region," she said.
"Southern Cross Performing Artists will perform after their great success at Disneyland Hong Kong.
"For the enthusiasts there'll be plenty of activity in the main arena with a full schedule of horse events."
Ms Storey said this would start with a comprehensive breeds program, dressage events on day one, in addition to a busy program of Pony Galloway, hack and hunter events and show jumping on day two.
The Teys grass-fed beef cattle competition would be held again this year, including both commercial and stud breeders.
"The feature event of the show will be the Team D-Max Isuzu utes brought to you by Wagga Motors Isuzu Utes," she said.
"The performance includes close formation driving, high speed drafts and slides, hair-raising four-way crossovers, ramp jumps and even driving on two wheels."
Ms Storey said the show society's significant investment in upgrades to facilities and infrastructure at the Wagga Wagga showgrounds would greatly improve the experience for exhibitors and make it more enjoyable for patrons.
The show gates open at 9am and close at 9pm with a huge fireworks display each night.
