THE reserve champion Poll Dorset ram of the Canberra Royal was awarded to the Frost family of Hillden stud, Bannister.
The 10-month-old ram came second to the Springwater’s ram in the milk tooth shorn ram class that later went on to become champion.
Poll Dorset judge, Greg Hamilton, “Windradyne”, Canowindra, said the reserve champion ram was the most correct sheep in the line-up and had great style for such a young sheep.
“I can’t wait to see him in future shows,” Mr Hamilton said.
Principal of Hillden Poll Dorset stud, Brian Frost said the ram was exceptional for his age.
“The ram has overall strength, smoothness and extreme correctness.”
