ABELENE Park took the crown at the NSW Dorset Championships in Cowra with their ram Abelene Park 131 sashed grand champion Poll Dorset ram before being named supreme exhibit today.
Brothers Marshall and Brett Douglas and their father Max, Woolomin, exhibited the August 2014-drop ram that was also awarded junior champion yesterday morning.
Abelene Park exhibited both junior champion rams.
Senior champion ram went to the Frost family, Hillden Poll Dorset stud, Bannister, and reserve senior champion to the Armstrong family, Armdale Park, Marrar.
Hillden also exhibited the grand champion Poll Dorset ewe, followed by Armdale Park with reserve.
The Weir family, Pinewalla, Crookwell, took home both the champion and reserve champion Dorset Horn rams on Friday with twin brothers.
Champion Dorset Horn ewe was awarded to Right Dorsets, Guyra, with Kei-Vale, Boorowa, in reserve.
The two-day event wrapped up in Cowra today.
The judge was Paul Day of Sunnybanks Poll Dorset stud, Penguin, Tasmania.
