THE One Oak Merino stud dispersal ends an era for Graham and Mary Wells, One Oak Merino stud, Jerilderie.
Stud ewes sold to a top of $12,000, to Willandra Merinos, Jerilderie, while stud sires sold to $30,000 to Yarrawonga Merino stud, Harden.
The sale marks the end of the One Oak stud's 58-year history in the Merino industry.
Stud principal Graham Wells was overwhelmed with the support from stud breeders across the country, while happy that his sheep had gone into some really strong operations across the country to help continue the One Oak legacy in the Merino industry.
