Weeala poll rams in demand
THE McBurnie family sold 77 rams at an average of $1278 during their 15th annual Weealla Merinos on-property ram sale at Balladoran on Saturday.
Poll rams were in demand with 61 topping at $4200 to average $1272.
The topper, a 17.6 micron wool grower was one of two purchased by John and Jacquie Johnston and son, Robert, " Nwobelong", Bugaldie.
Top Merino ram at $2600 sold to another return buyer, Brian Healey, "Walla Wallah", Narromine.
