KEI-VALE Dorset Horn stud scooped the pool at the NSW Dorset Championships last week.
Father and son duo Keith and Victor Koble, Boorowa, kept it in the family by taking out the champion Dorset Horn ram, as well as champion and reserve champion Dorset Horn ewe.
The champion Dorset Horn ram had won the shorn ram under 18 months class.
Their champion Dorset Horn ewe took out first place on the mat in the shorn ewe under 18 months earlier on in the day.
Kei-Vale also took first place in the woolly ram under 18 months class.
In all, the Kobles took home two champion ribbons, one reserve champion and four first place ribbons for their efforts.
They also took home the most successful Dorset Horn exhibitor title for the second year in a row.
Mr Keith Koble (pictured with his grand champion Dorset Horn ram, which won the ram under 1 1/2 years class) said it was by far the family stud's best result ever at a major show.
"This was a major result for us, we are really happy with the team we brought to Cowra," Mr Koble said.
In other Dorset Horn successes, sturdy contenders the Wright family, Right Dorset Horns, Bendemeer, won both the shorn ram milk tooth class and the shorn ewe milk tooth class as well as the group of one ram and two ewes under 18 months.
