The 15.6 wool micron ram had a comfort factor of 99.9pc.
Judge, Garry Kopp, Towalba Merino stud, Peak Hill, said all eight sheep in the line-up were deserving of a win, however, the Greenland ram was a standout.
"The Greenland ram showed great sire potential for a young ram," Mr Kopp said.
The ram had previously taken out the junior champion March shorn Merino ram title.
Greenland stud also won reserve junior champion March shorn Merino ram.
Stay tuned for more Merino coverage at Sydney Royal tomorrow.
