MODELS and Merinos seem to go hand in hand at the Field family's Wyvern Station in western NSW these days.
Not only is Michael and Angela Field's own daughter Stephanie taking the international modelling scene by storm by gracing the catwalks of New York and Europe, but their sheep station near Carrathool has also been in the spotlight in Asia.
The 100-year-old historic Wyvern Station woolshed with 18 stands was used for Vogue China's woolly fashion shoot as part of the Campaign for Wool China.
Vogue China, in partnership with The Woolmark Company and the Campaign for Wool, brought Chinese supermodel Emma Pei (pictured) to the western sheep station to showcase fashion made from Australian wool.
Mr Field thought his massive new woolshed on the station featuring a 12-stand, saw-tooth, raised u-shape board would have looked "pretty schmick" for the shoot, but the fashionsitas couldn't go past the charm and character of yesteryear offered by the old shed.

At the end of day if it helps sells more wool to the world, the Fields were happy for their old woolshed to set the scene.
Campaign for Wool China 2014 was held at Super Brand Mall, Shanghai, last month to provide an opportunity for consumers to learn about and purchase the natural, renewable and biodegradable wool products.
