RICHMOND Merinos achieved a full clearance selling to a top of $5000 at their on-property sale at Quandialla, yesterday.
Trevor and Sarah Ryan offered 80 Merino and Poll Rams which sold for an average of $1872.
A further 20 were offered as a pen of two rams that were paired together for high production figures in either wool or meat traits, which sold for an average of $1060.
The top-priced ram sold to the Cavanagh Family, Cavanagh Partnership, Thuddungra.
He was sired by CP8317 and had 15.9-micron wool with a standard deviation of 3.1, and comfort factor of 100 per cent.
The sale was conducted by Elders, Young with Paul Dooley auctioneering.
