Armidale's Black Gully sells to businessman Warwick Grieve

ARMIDALE, NSW, property Black Gully has sold for an undisclosed figure after it was passed in at an Elders’ auction for $1.7m. The 273ha (675 acre) property was bought by Armidale businessman Warwick Grieve. Black Gully is located 12km south of Armidale in the Dangarsleigh area. The 90pc arable property has 13 paddocks with basalt and some trap soils. Fertiliser has been applied annually for the past six years. Improvements include yards, a bore supplying nine troughs, and five dams. Frank Spilsbury, Elders, handled the sale.
