MENTAL health is an essential part of your overall health. Just as physical fitness helps your body to stay strong, mental fitness helps you maintain a state of good mental health. Mental health is more than just the absence of mental illness; it is a state of wellbeing.
Join our live online forum here from 2-3pm
When you are mentally healthy, you enjoy your life and environment and the people in it. You can be creative, learn, try new things, and you are able to cope with difficult times. It’s important to be aware of your mental health in order to pinpoint the negative and positive impacts and take action to maintain wellbeing.
This month we are broadening the Friday forum discussion to talk about all the things that can impact on our mental health.
The expert panel will be taking your questions and we would love to hear about the things that are impacting your mental health - both in a negative and positive way. We will also be talking about the things that you can do to maintain good mental health and what to do if you or a friend are not doing so well.
Our expert panel
- Meg Perceval, Farm-Link co-ordinator
- John Ward, RUOK? Day ambassador
- Josh Snowdon, drug and alcohol counsellor, The Lyndon Community
