GRIZZLY has just released its new heavy duty disc plough and will have it on display with other machines from the Grizzly range at CRT FarmFest this year.
The new machine, named Tiny, plays on the parochial nature of Australian slang and is another model from Grizzly to go with the light-hearted naming theme.
The Grizzly Tiny is a machine which looks more impressive in real life than in photographs, said the company's sales manager Scott Williams.
"Tiny has been designed for farmers and contractors to go into virgin country and for mines to undertake various tasks," he said.
"It has huge weight-per-disc ratio which means penetrating new or hard earth is achievable - the weight has been engineered into the machine so everything looks to scale."
Mr Williams said the Tiny range would have at least two different duty machines, an 81 centimetre (32-inch) disc machine and a 91cm (36-inch) disc machine.
These would have various differences in running gear and disc spacings and overall working widths.
However, Mr Williams said many features would remain the same, and these include three-and-a-half-metre transport width (most models), 250 millimetre by 150mm mainframe, floatation tyres, floppy T-Bar scrapers, two-year bearing warranty, adjustable gang angles as well as other features.
"Its size of discs, weight and ability to fold to under three-and-a-half metres means this machine ticks many boxes and existing customers are impressed," Mr Williams said.
Grizzly will be located on site K/17-18 during CRT FarmFest.
