THE Moree community put its best foot forward recently at the annual B&W Rural Moree Picnic Race meet.
Thousands flocked to the racecourse for the glamorous event, which included a six-race program, calcutta, marquee luncheon and evening dinner dance featuring Sydney band Furnace and the Fundamentals.
The meet is widely known as one of the most popular country racing picnics in the region and now kicks off the AgVantage Commodities Golden Triangle picnic races series, which featured the Mallawa Picnics and Talmoi Picnics.
