BUYERS will have the opportunity to purchase quality Charolais bulls without a big pricetag at this year's Golden Guitar Charolais sale.
There will be forty Charolais bulls on offer from three different studs including Steve and Louie Franco's "Caloona Park"; Terry and Mayleen Griffin's "Temana", and Bruno Marrapodi's "St Antonio".
It its fifth year, the sale is expected to attract a good number of local, repeat buyers said Davidson Cameron and Company selling agent Daniel McCulloch, Tamworth.
Mr McCullouch said the bulls offered were commercially adaptive cattle without the big stud name associated with them and would be suitable for commercial cattle producers.
This year, buyers will have the opportunity to purchase an award winning bull as Caloona Park are offering the supreme Charolais exhibit of the Sydney Royal Show (lot three).
It will also be the first time the sale will be conducted at the new Tamworth sale yards.
Twenty-seven bulls were sold at the sale last year, topping at $6000 twice for an average of $3770.
Mr McCullouch said the Golden Guitar sale has obtained a reputable name and will offer a range of soft, early maturing, moderate Charolais bulls this year.
"Each and every year the vendors pride themselves in the presentation and appearance of the bulls they offer for sale," he said.
"This year will certainly not disappoint with another outstanding line up."
