The volume buyer for the sale was Doug Arnott, “Burnam Wood”, Coolah, who purchased 12 rams.
Stud owners Ian and Christine O’Leary were pleased with the sale’s outcome.
“The lamb market is firing right now and it’s an excellent result for us,” Mr O’Leary said.
“The recent rain has helped helped kick things along for us today.”
The sale was conducted by Milling Stuart, Dunedoo. The company’s co-owner Angus Stuart said the stud’s rams kept going “better and better”.
“The rams presented very well – they’re like peas in a pod,” Mr Stuart said.
The stud’s main sale is held in September each year.
