Combining top genetics with superior ewe feed management can boost reproduction rates and Bred Well Fed well is continuing to show producers how.
New workshops included in the program will be held at Hermes Poll Dorset stud, Woodstock, on Tuesday May 31, Wellagalong, Bathurst, on Wednesday June 1 and Merriwa Showgrounds, Merria on Thursday June 2.
All workshops run from 9am until 3pm with lunch provided.
Workshop deliverers Brent McLeod and Geoff Duddy, said the hands-on, one-day workshops will give producers practical tools to optimise reproduction and profitability in their ewe flocks.
The days are squarely aimed at improving the profitability of ewe flocks. Important elements of the practical one day workshop will be setting breeding goals for ewe flocks, improving ewe nutrition, developing a feed budget and generally breeding better ewes.
