There will be something for everyone in Hay on the June Long Weekend when visitors converge from across Australia to take part in the festivities.
The Australian Mini Car national rally is one of the biggest and longest running car rallies in Australia after starting as a one off event 49 years ago.
The town of Hay has hosted the event every year, and over the years has seen thousands of people, as well as countless Minis, Mokes and more recently BMW Minis join in the fun.
A festival atmosphere will surround the Hay Visitor Information Centre in the centre of Hay after a street parade on Saturday morning 11 June 2016.
There will be market stalls children’s entertainment and live music.
The Hay Visitor Information Centre is coordinating Hay’s Super Voucher Sale with super savings, giveaways throughout the businesses of Hay during the long weekend.
Vouchers can be collected from the Hay Visitor Information Centre.
The Hay Bowling and Golf Club will also host their annual Hay Plains Bowls Carnival where there will be over 100 bowlers from South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales battling it out on the greens from Friday through to Monday.
Activities at the Bowling Club will continue as normal and all visitors are welcome to call in.
It will be the 5th Birthday Bash for the Hay Dust Drinkers B n S Ball with ball goers enjoying Saturday night at the Hay Showground Pavilion.
Entertainment will be by the Silverstring Outlaws and Benn Gunn.
