The second edition of agronomic research results from southern centres, Southern NSW Research Results 2015, has been launched by the co-editor, Deb Slinger, director Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute.
Mrs Slinger said the book has been produced to increase awareness of research and development activities undertaken by NSW DPI in the southern cropping region of NSW.
“The book is a combination of all the trial results from southern research centres,” she said.
“It delivers the outcomes of these activities to our stakeholders including agribusiness, consultants and growers.
“Last year 1800 copies were printed, and this year there is a lot more content and there has been some terrific feedback already.”
Mrs Slinger said the publication is highlighting the good work of DPI.
“It is something we can all be proud off,” she said.
“NSW DPI, in collaboration with GRDC is at the forefront of agricultural research in the southern cropping region of NSW.”
