A new release compact telehandler is designed to take on big jobs in extremely small spaces.
JLG’s 2505H super compact telehandler delivers a maximum load capacity of 2500 kilograms and a lift height of 5.6 metres.
Pushed out to its full potential, load capacity at maximum lift height is 2400kg and at its maximum reach of 3.3m the load capacity is 750kg.
And while it can take on a big load it is not taking much space according to JLG product specialist, Stephen Heffernan.
“The JLG 2505H was designed to work in the tight confines often experienced in greenhouses, feedlots, poultry sheds and busy distribution yards,” he said.
“With a confined body mass of just 1.8m wide and 1.9m high, plus a tight turning radius of 3.2m, it easily manoeuvres in such limited spaces.”
The 2505H is powered by a Tier 4i, 2.9 litre Deutz turbo diesel engine producing 55 kilowatts and a maximum travel speed of 25kph.
Fitted with a Rexroth hydrostatic transmission driving all four wheels, traction is enhanced by 4WD and a limited-slip differential on the front axle.
Hydraulic system delivers 72.3 litre a minute supply.
Three steering modes – front-wheel steer for normal road driving, all-wheel steer for reduced turning radius in confined areas and crab-steer for sideways movement, contributing to manoeuvrability.
Safety elemented include work and road lights, screen and roof guarding and hydrostatic four-wheel drive with proportional control of the lift, telescope and fork tilt.
“The 2505H is complemented by a wide range of JLG approved attachments that make it suitable for agricultural applications,” Mr Heffernan said.
