ADRIANO Zumbo’s decision to switch flour suppliers has one Gunnedah business buzzing.
The world-famous patissier recently recruited Wholegrain Mills to supply flour for use in his string of popular patisseries.
The flour, milled by Craig and Renee Neale and their team, is certified sustainable and will be used to make the Coonamble-born chef’s sourdough loaves and other goodies.
“My word it’s exciting. It’s an absolute pleasure to do business with him,” Mr Neale said.
But Zumbo isn’t the only A-list chef the Neale’s are doing business with. Kylie Kwong is also a regular customer.
“The top chefs all want to differentiate themselves so they try to source a flour which has a blend of grains and we can accommodate that.”
Wholegrain Milling’s product range includes wheat, spelt, rye, sorghum, oats and khorasan flour. It supplies 120 artisan bakeries across Australia.
Its certified sustainable range is produced by growers in the state’s Central West.
