OPERATION ROAM has found its fifth fugitive as it begins its second week.
Dane Gregory Moore, 41, has been arrested in Western Australia.
WA Police attended an address in Pinjarra at 10:30am (WA time) and located Moore at the residence.
During October 2013, it is alleged Moore was involved in a number of assaults at Port Macquarie, NSW.
Moore is the fifth fugitive to be caught by the two-week, nation-wide operation aimed to flush out 19 hiding fugitives.
Nicholas Paul Byrne, 46, wanted for committing offences against a child in 2010, handed himself into police last week in Townsville, Queensland, as did San Sem, 35, at Elizabeth Station in South Australia.
Sem was wanted for manufacturing methylamphetamine and drug trafficking which occurred in the Parafield Gardens area in 2010.
Luke Crieff Stuart Broadhead, 35, wanted for drug trafficking and possession offences in 2010, was also arrested last week after being discovered by police in Cairns.
Daryl Dean Wellington, 29, was caught in Kerang by Swan Hill police last week. Wellington was wanted for allegations of intentionally and recklessly causing injury to a person in March this year.
Police are still hunting for 14 fugitives wanted for a range of crimes, including drug offences, sexual assault and crimes against children.
