A $100,000 breeder’s bonus is on offer to broodmare owners who use new young horse Office Bearer, who will stand at Tim and Celie Nolan’s “Murrulla” property at Wingen.
A brilliant stakes-winning sprinter when in the stable of champion trainer Peter Moody, Office Bearer was bred and raced by the late Phillip Esplin and family, who have already produced outstanding gallopers, including highly successful sires Charge Forward, Reset and Fast ‘n’ Famous.
Belonging to the Relaunch sireline, Office Bearer is the only son at stud in Australia that has been produced from a Street Cry mare.
The $100,000 bonus will be divided between three breeders at the conclusion of the future-bred Office Bearer three-year-old season – the breeder of the horse with the most total prizemoney – including bonus scheme prizemoney, from his first southern hemisphere crop, will be eligible. That is $60,000 to the winner, $25,000 to the second horse prizemoney tally, and $15,000 to the third horse prizemoney tally.
“Prizemoney in country NSW has never been so lucrative and a young, affordably priced stallion such as Office Bearer gives all owner breeders a chance of success,” Tim Nolan said.
Office Bearer won his first three starts, and went on to win a Melbourne stakes and was fourth in a Group two race during the rich Brisbane Winter Carnival.
