He stands calmly on top of a truck trailer and casts lures into tanks of fish as he calmly explains to a milling crowd the benefits of the lure and how best to catch different species of fish.

“Nothing harder than trying to train a fish,” says Michael Cooke, the presenter of the Australian Travelling Fish Show to the assembled onlookers.
For the past 14 years Mr Cooke has been entertaining crowds with his free show, sponsored by Berkeley fishing products and Bushman’s Tanks, at shows across the country.
He says he sells a bit of stuff to cover his diesel costs, but mainly it’s all about educating people about the joys of fishing.
“But the best advice you can get is by asking a local,” he said.
“But you might not always get a straight answer because he mighn’t want you catching his fish!”
Sometimes, he said, it might be better hiring a guide.
