Heavy rain overnight and the thought of rising creek water and soggy avenues through the field day site didn’t deter farmers from attending the second day of the Henty Machinery Field Days.
Although it was quieter than normal second days, many site holders reported interest in their products and were delighted the crowd kept coming throughout the day.
The only worry came late in the afternoon, when the carpark behind the Lifestyle Pavilion became flooded as waters rose above the banks of the creek causing a flurry of action as stall holders sought to move their cars to an already boggy higher ground.
