REDLINE Trailers began about 20 years ago when harvesting contractors Faith and Lindsay Northcott needed something for their staff to do in the off season.
“We realised we were better at it then most of the others so we kept at it,” said Mrs Northcott at a well-centred site during the Henty Machinery Field Days.
She said the heavy duty trailers were made tough for agricultural jobs.
“It’s all Australian steel, powder coated with LED lights and Toyota Landcruiser wheels.” The 3.6-metre tipper with a 1.8m-wide tray was one of their most popular offerings, but a new flatbed with a low tray was proving useful. “It’s 4.8m long and 2.4m wide and can carry 4.5 tonnes, farmers are using it to move chemical shuttles and, given the recent rain, there’s a lot of chemical shuttles on the move.”
