SHOPPERS in the Central West will soon be able to buy canola oil grown and pressed in their backyard.
Manildra’s MSM Milling has today launched its range of canola oil branded ‘auzure’.
It will hit Australian supermarket shelves in six to eight weeks.
The product launch represents MSM’s first step into the retail market. Until now the mill has focused on bulk canola oil sales to the local and international food industry. It also produces stockfeed.
Using state of the art technology at its Manildra site, MSM’s oil is packed in five litre to 20L boxed bags and 20L drums as well as in bulk (up to intermediate bulk containers).
A new retail filling line is being commissioned to bottle and label auzure, which will be available in one, two and four litre bottles.
MSM will use existing trade partners to export auzure to the Philippines, China and Vietnam, where canola oil is sought after for cooking and gifting.
