FISHING, sailing, kayaking, swimming and prawning awaits the new owners of “Pub Hill Farm” at Narooma.
The 90-hectare property, owned by Ian and Micki Thomlinson, has been listed for sale with Nolan Webster Real Estate and Whale Coast Realty. It will be auctioned on December 9.
“Pub Hill Farm” features open grazing country with views of Hobbs Bay and Wagonga inlet. It has 1.5 kilometres of absolute water frontage with title to the high tide mark – a rarity for the area.
There is room to run about 20 cows and calves (or 350 cashmere goats as previous owners have done). Each of the eight paddocks on “Pub Hill Farm” are watered by dams or livestock troughs.
The property features a main homestead, guest accommodation plus a cottage. The cottage can bring in up to $50,000 a year in revenue from South Coast holiday makers.
The Thomlinsons have owned the place for 27 years and are retiring to Melbourne. They have run the property as an accommodation business which could be continued or it could simply be used as a large private residence.
The main homestead is built on the footprint of the old Wagonga Pub which was a popular watering hole for travellers en route from Melbourne to Sydney.
