The winners in the first round of zone judging to decide which Showgirls will compete at Sydney Royal Show have been decided.
An early childhood educator, student and dairy farmer, Wauchope Showgirl Jaclyn Lindsay, 21, and youth worker Bangalow Showgirl Isabel Boyle, 24, will each head to the Royal in April where they will represent their zone and local shows in The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition.
The judging was held in Coffs Harbour this weekend and was the first time the town had hosted a zone final.
Judges included 2009 Camden Showgirl, Lauren Elkins, Agricultural Societies Council delegate Bob Robertson and The Lands editor Andrew Norris.
The event was hosted by the Coffs Harbour Show Society at the Novotel Coffs Harbour Pacific Bay Resort.
Miss Lindsay and Miss Boyle will progress to the Sydney Royal Show, which starts on April 6, where they will compete against the finalists from zones across the state to be crowned The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl.
