Ewes top $236 at Narromine

Buying agent Geoff Rice, Langlands Hanlon, Parkes, with vendors of the top-priced $236 Merino ewes, David, Nick and Michael Lyons, “Mt Bodangora”, Wellington. There were 704 ewes 1 ½ years of Wallaloo Park blood, May shorn and 110 per cent scanned in lamb to Umagarlee White Suffolk rams which sold to a Trundle district restocker.

IT’S not often top money is the same for first cross ewes and Merinos, but that happened at Narromine store sheep sale last Wednesday with the top price at $236.
