Competition continued in the sheep shed at the Royal Canberra Show on the third day with the School's teams of various breeds judged along with the individual classes of junior judging.
Merryn Bowman, Macarthur Anglican College, Cobbity, won the meat sheep competition, and with her third place in the Merino class, she was awarded the Goorama Poll Dorset stud Trophy for junior sheep judging.
Two of the judges in the sheep pavilion, Brendan Mansbridge, Eugowra, and Ed Thomas, Cooma had each come through these competitions on their journey to becoming judges in demand at sheep shows.
