The 2017 Wagyu industry conference hopes to shed some light on how dairy farmers can access premiums by joining the bottom half of their Holstein herds with Wagyu to produce F1 feeder steers and heifers.
From May 1 to 3 in Albury, May 3 highlighting Wagyu X Holstein issues, followed by a tour of Wagyu operations in north-east Victoria on May 4 and 5.
Following the success of last years conference, a new range of speakers will be on offer to explain the benefits of attributing the Wagyu breed into dairy herd to achieve market premium.
Themed “Wagyu Expansion – Transforming the Australian beef industry” serves an introduction to the industry for those using Wagyu in their existing herds or considering the use of the breed in the future.
