The 95th annual state conference of the NSW branch of the Country Women’s Association gathered at Tumbi Umbi for four days of conferencing this week.
Opened by NSW Governor David Hurley, there were plenty of exhibitions, business motions and catch-ups to keep delegates busy.
A host of motions, some pretty controversial, were debated over the four days, including one which was passed that called for a ban on CSG mining.
Outside it was great chance to catch-up, have a laugh and meet old friends over the four days at the spacious Mingara Recreation Club on the NSW Central Coast.
The Land sponsored the Cookery Committee display. The international committee chose Nepal as its next project, after Mongolia last year.
