Now is a great time, for those involved in primary industry retailing, to offer a quality range of generators as part of their product mix.
“There is uncertainty regarding the reliability of electricity from the grid in rural areas,” South East Rural’s David Bottom said
“Consumers are looking for reliable alternatives for a backup power supply.
“A power outage is not merely an inconvenience to people living in rural areas, but a threat to survival.
“Most homes in rural areas rely on electric pumps to supply water to their homes and livestock as well as lighting, refrigeration, communication, entertainment and climate control,” he said.
Bullmax has been working with manufacturers, and listening to consumers, to update their range of generators to include three designed for keeping a source of power always available with an automatic transfer switch (ATS).
The three generators (8.5 KVA Kohler 14hp petrol; 7.5 KVA 12hp diesel; and 15 KVA Kohler 25hp petrol) come equipped with an ATS switch which, when wired by a qualified electrician to a switchboard that is connected to the power grid, will automatically start the generator when the power fails.
David believes that by purchasing and installing a Bullmax generator with ATS capabilities will give confidence to those in rural areas who are dependent on continuous electricity supply.
All Bullmax generators have a 12-month warranty.
